Nestled in the lush countryside of Jiangxi province, Jinxi county is pioneering an innovative approach to rural development, breathing new life into its 128 ancient villages.

Jinxi's breakthrough came through a multifaceted preservation strategy. The county's digital household registration system was launched to create comprehensive digital profiles for each historic structure that documents its architectural era, structural features, and historical significance.
