The unveiling ceremony of Tongji University's "Huizhou Culture Practice Base for International Students" was held in Yixian county, Huangshan, on Oct 10, marking another milestone in the global promotion of Huizhou culture.
As part of the "Experience China - Huangshan Tour" program, the initiative aims to use Huizhou culture as a bridge for cross-cultural communication. The establishment of the new practice base provides international students with a long-term platform to explore traditional culture through hands-on experiences.
This year, Yixian county has become an increasingly active hub for cultural exchange. In March, students from 16 countries visited Hongcun village. During the October event, international participants joined the traditional "Bench Dragon" parade in Xidi village, explored Huizhou-style architecture, and took part in local lantern painting activities, immersing themselves in centuries-old craftsmanship and heritage.

From January to September, it welcomed over 80,700 foreign tourists, strengthening Huizhou culture as a vibrant international symbol of Huangshan.
