Travel to Cambodia popular among tourists
Cambodia attracted a total of 889,089 Chinese tourists in the first nine months, a year-on-year increase of 46.3 percent, said the Ministry of Tourism. The number of Chinese tourists accounted for 20.3 percent of the 4.37 million international tourist arrivals to the kingdom during the January-September period. China was the third-biggest source of foreign holidaymakers to the Southeast Asian country after Thailand and Vietnam.
Yuan weakens against greenback
The central parity rate of the Chinese currency renminbi, or the yuan, weakened 10 pips to 7.0866 against the US dollar on Tuesday, according to the China Foreign Exchange Trade System. In China's spot foreign exchange market, the yuan is allowed to rise or fall by 2 percent from the central parity rate each trading day.
