The shop is the first duty-free shop both in Xi'an and in China's northwest region. Located in the core commercial area of Beilin district, it spans 2,050 square meters and occupies three above-ground floors. The shop features a duty-free and taxed commodity area.

Through its innovative model of "duty-free + cultural tourism + consumption", the shop attracts international visitors to enter the country for consumption and provides a significant boost to Xi'an as an international consumption center.

To reflect Xi'an's urban focus on "cultural tourism + consumption", the shop has incorporated the city's iconic cultural elements into both its product designs and store decor. Additionally, they have developed customized cultural and creative products, enabling consumers to experience the ancient capital's charm while purchasing international brands.

"Compared to duty-free shops at airports and border crossings, consumers will feel more relaxed at Xi'an Downtown Duty Free Shop with more time and freedom," said Wei Mengnan, general manager of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport Duty Free Products Co. She added that the shop is equipped with multilingual guides to assist international tourists with their shopping.

Chinese and international travelers who hold valid entry and exit documents and are leaving Xi'an within 60 days (including the 60th day) can enjoy the "downtown purchase, airport pickup" service. Goods in the taxed commodity area are available to all customers.
