Heating checks for passenger comfort
As cold weather has arrived earlier than expected, Chinese railway operators are paying more attention to heating to maximize passenger comfort. Amid a sudden drop in temperatures, the Jinzhong High-Speed Rail Construction Zone in Shanxi province has promptly activated gas-fired boilers at Jinzhong Station and airsource boilers at Taigu West Station and Qixian East Station to ensure warm commutes for passengers as well as staff members. The move is expected to safeguard stable heating operations and reinforce cold prevention efforts.
