For the past week, the South China Sea has witnessed renewed, deliberate provocations. The Philippines?has once again orchestrated a farce, illegally intruding into China's sovereign airspace and waters.

Our message to Manila is clear: Provocation is a dead end. It harms the Philippines'?own?interests, strains bilateral ties, and threatens regional stability. The Philippines must stop infringing, stop the troublemaking. It’s time to return to dialogue and negotiation.
