Small-sized artworks, though limited in size, are rich in content. Whether it's Chinese album leaves and fan paintings or small Western oil paintings, these pieces encapsulate the artists' spiritual reflections, emotional expressions, and humanistic concerns within their compact frames.
Since its launch, the exhibition has received 2,532 submissions from across the nation. After a fair and open selection process by the judging committee, 180 works were chosen for their intellectual depth, artistic quality, and academic value.
The exhibition has garnered enthusiastic responses from both China and Russia, particularly from universities in Shanxi province and Inner Mongolia autonomous region. Many young artists passionately contributed their works, offering fresh perspectives that continue the dialogue of Sino-Russian cultural exchange, and contributing fresh vitality into the cultural prosperity of Shanxi and Inner Mongolia.
