Rows of red lanterns were hung outside Jokhang Temple in Lhasa on Feb 9, adding a warm glow to the city and filling the area with a strong festive atmosphere.
As both Spring Festival and Tibetan New Year draw ever closer, Lhasa is embracing the season of celebration.
Across the city, streets and alleys have been carefully decorated, blending traditional charm with vibrant holiday colors. From historic squares to busy neighborhoods, the bright lanterns and seasonal ornaments signal the arrival of Chinese New Year and reflect local residents' anticipation and joy.
