The Chongqing High-end Instrumentation Manufacturing Innovation Center has opened in Liangjiang New Area, marking the city's 12th manufacturing innovation center.
A representative from the center highlighted its integration of top-tier research capabilities, including expertise and R&D teams specializing in functional materials, sensors, and precision testing, saying, "Our focus is on developing and disseminating common technologies to bridge the gap between research and industrial application."
The center aims to gather innovation resources from across the industry chain, universities, and research institutes. By enhancing collaboration, it seeks breakthroughs in critical areas, including high-end sensors, intelligent instruments, and core functional materials.
The center is currently undertaking 10 R&D projects, has achieved seven invention patents, and is involved in revising six national and industry standards. It plans to lead major national scientific and technological projects, advance applied basic research, and accelerate the development and commercialization of pioneering products and significant scientific achievements.
The center will continue to provide essential technological services to the industry, including commissioned R&D, pilot testing, inspection, and standardization.
