China confirms communication on Trump visit

Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian confirmed on Tuesday that Beijing and Washington remain in communication over the date of a possible visit to China by US President Donald Trump.
He made the remarks at a regular news briefing, adding that China has noted the US' clarification regarding media reports linking the visit with the issue over the Strait of Hormuz.
