Huawei posts second-highest revenue in 2025
Huawei Technologies Co said on Tuesday that it delivered a stable performance in 2025, with global revenue reaching 880.9 billion yuan ($127.7 billion), the company's second-highest annual tally, marking a 2.2 percent increase year-on-year.
Net profit stood at 68 billion yuan, up 8.7 percent from a year earlier, the company said.
"In 2025, Huawei's overall operations remained robust," Meng Wanzhou, Huawei's rotating chairwoman, said.
The company continued to strengthen its long-term competitiveness by significantly increasing research and development investment. In 2025, R&D expenses reached a record 192.3 billion yuan, accounting for about 21.8 percent of total revenue. Over the past decade, Huawei has invested more than 1.382 trillion yuan in R&D.
Looking ahead, Huawei said it will keep increasing R&D investment in strategic areas such as connectivity, computing, cloud, terminals, intelligent driving, and artificial intelligence, integrating AI and security into every product and network. The company said it aims to build a win-win ecosystem around its Ascend, Kunpeng, and HarmonyOS platforms, adding that it remains committed to creating value for customers, partners and society through open innovation and quality-driven development.
In a separate announcement, the company said that under its rotating chairman system, Wang Tao will serve as rotating chairman from April 1 to Sept 30, presiding over the board of directors and its executive committee.
