IT: China Jan-Nov telecom industry revenue up 11.5%(Dow Jones)Updated: 2006-12-27 14:35 China's telecommunications industry revenue between January and November totaled 590.61 billion yuan, up 11.5 percent from the same period last year, according to data from the Ministry of Information Industry. The rise continued to accelerate slightly from year-on-year gains of 11.4 percent in January-October and 11.3 percent January-September. China, the world's largest mobile phone market, had 455 million mobile-phone users at the end of November, up 61.6 million since the end of last year, the ministry said in a statement dated Friday.
