China plans to invest 2.25 billion yuan to build a coal loading wharf in eastern China's Ningbo, the Xinhua News Agency reported.

The wharf will include a 200,000-ton unloading berth and a 50,000-ton loading berth, the agency said.

The first phase of the project will have an annual throughput of 16 million tons, which will be increased by 6 million tons with the Phase II expansion.
