HK launches new H-share derivative product

The Hong Kong exchange yesterday launched the first derivative product related to the H-share financial index to meet strong demand for mainland shares.

The H-share financial index futures emerged four months after the launch of the H-share financial index that mirrors the share performance of three mainland insurers and five domestic lenders that constitute about half of the market capitalization of the H-share index.
