Chinese shares open higher, 04/27

Chinese shares started slightly higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 3,788.75 points, up 5.69 points, or 0.15 percent.

The index, which tracks both yuan-denominated A shares and hard-currency B shares traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, closed at 3,783.06 points on Thursday.
