Stocks rise back on electricity shares buy

Chinese shares gained 0.03 percent on Friday led by electricity companies on talk of electricity prices rise.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ended 0.03 percent higher at 2,079.67 points. The Shenzhen Component Index edged 0.86 percent to 6,935.07 points.

Gainers outnumbered losers by 427-399 in Shanghai and 424-269 in Shenzhen.
