Shares slightly down tracking Wall Street losses

Chinese share prices closed 0.71 percent lower on Friday tracking overnight Wall Street losses.

The Shanghai Composite Index dropped 0.71 percent to 1,990. The Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.51 percent to 7,015.

Combined turnover shrank to 95.27 billion yuan ($13.61 billion) from 103.65 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
