Money supply grows 18.8% year-on-year in Jan

China's money supply grew 18.8 percent year-on-year in January, up from 17.8 percent in December, the central bank said this morning.

Chinese banks extended 1.62 trillion yuan in new loans in January, up 101 percent from a year ago.
