CRM operating revenue tops 100b yuan in 2008

China Railway Materials Commercial Corp (CRM), a major railway infrastructure materials provider and logistics operator, said on Tuesday it had posted operating revenue of 100.2 billion yuan in 2008, a 26.8 percent increase year-on-year.

CRM, which provides construction materials for the 220 billion yuan Beijing-Shanghai high-speed railway, had assets worth 25.3 billion yuan in 2007.

The Beijing-based company, one of the 141 biggest State-owned enterprises, said it would focus on building itself into a steel market leader over the next few years.
