Guangzhou Auto triples profit

Guangzhou Automobile Group Co, a partner of Toyota Motor Corp and Honda Motor Co in China, more than tripled its profit in the first half as sales increased. Net income rose to 2.31 billion yuan ($339 million), or 0.587 yuan a share, from 640 million yuan a year earlier.
