China's shares close higher Friday

BEIJING -- China's stocks closed higher on Friday as banks and property developers gained.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.41 percent, or 37.64 points, to close at 2,715.29 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.63 percent, or 73.22 points, to end at 11,639.96 points
