Gold price closes higher in Hong Kong - May 13

HONG KONG -- The gold price in Hong Kong moved up HK$212 to close at HK$14,060 per tael on Friday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,518.56 a troy ounce, up $23.09 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.772.
