Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong - May 23

HONG KONG -- Gold price in Hong Kong rose HK$77 to open at HK$14,015 per tael on Monday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,513.11 a troy ounce, up $8.31 from the previous closing at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.775.
