Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong - May 24

HONG KONG -- Gold price in Hong Kong went up HK$57 to open at HK$14,075 per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.

The price is equivalent to $1,519.01 a troy ounce, up $6.15 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against HK$7.778.
