Gold price opens higher in Hong Kong

HONG KONG -- Gold price in Hong Kong went up HK$20 to open at HK$14,140 per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $1,526.22 a troy ounce, up $2.16 at the latest exchange rate of?$1 against HK$7.777.
