The Nanjing No 4 Yangtze River Bridge will officially be open to traffic on Dec 24. The suspension bridge is 33 meters wide, with twin towers and three bridge spans, and has the standard two-way, six-lane super highway. It looks similar to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, but this bridge has a longer main span - 1,418 meters, third longest in the world. [Zhou Haijun/Asianewsphoto] |
