MACAO - Macao's resident deposits in November kept virtually unchanged from the preceding month at an equivalent of 436.9 billion patacas ($54.7 billion), according to latest figures released by the Monetary Authority of Macao.

Pataca deposits and other foreign deposits of the resident deposits increased at respective rate of 0.3 percent and 1.5 percent month on month, while HKD deposits dropped 0.7 percent, the figures indicated.

As for non-resident deposits, the value increased 2.7 percent from the previous month to 173.3 billion patacas ($21.7 billion), of which public sector deposits with local banking sector increased 2.9 percent to 67.9 billion patacas ($8.5 billion), according to the Monetary Authority.
