Trips for children are categorized as per age-groups. For example, Ctrip has Singapore packages for pre-schoolers and school-going children.

Pre-school children get to see the city-state's zoos and interact with animals. School-going travelers are taken to Universal Studio and given opportunities to participate in activities designed to deepen knowledge and practice of science.

Ctrip found that Chinese consumers are willing to spend more on summer vacations, with most of them choosing to stay at four- and five-star hotels.
