Huayu Automotive Systems Co, a listed auto parts supplier 60 percent owned by SAIC Motor Corp, is in talks with Johnson Controls Inc to acquire the US supplier's electronic business, the China Business News reported last week. The report cited an anonymous source saying Huayu could offer more than $1 billion for the acquisition.
