Fuji Xerox Co Ltd has developed the ApeosPort-II C4300 based on its new Apeos concept.
The product is a full featured, color A3 multifunction device, which has copier, printer and scanner functions. It can monitor output and transmissions by tracking what document is being used, by whom and when during copying, printing and faxing operations by use of an image log function linked with a server. To prevent unauthorized copying, the system also offers a paper security function, which restricts the copying, faxing and scanning of confidential information by enabling users to select settings that restrict reproduction of paper documents beforehand.
The device has speeds of 45 ppm/35 ppm (monochrome/color), 35 ppm/31 ppm, and 26 ppm/26 ppm respectively (A4 long-edge feed).
