Why Orlando can't get a date

He may be one of the most attractive actors of his generation but Orlando Bloom claims that this does not make it easy for him to find a girlfriend.
In an interview to be published in a forthcoming edition of Elle magazine, Bloom admitted that dating was difficult.
The actor said: "You can't date if you're famous. [...] It's like you travel so much and it feels like the options are endless. People think getting a new partner is like getting a new car."
Unlike many actors, Bloom said he had come to terms with being a sex symbol.
He said: "A friend explained it to me in a way that helped. He said there's a window in every girl's life where they kind of attach to somebody for a month. And if you're that person for a month, then just enjoy it. And I was like, 'Okay, cool!'"
Bloom, a comitted environmentalist, spoke to the magazine for its May "Green Issue".
The Pirates of the Caribbean star recently announced that he is building an environmentally-friendly house in London saying: "It's as green as I can make it. It's got solar panels on the roof, energy efficient light bulbs - newer technology basically that is environmentally friendly.
It might not be possible for everyone to live a completely green lifestyle, but we can do little things to help slow global warming."
