Young genius has little time for lessons

A 12-year-old boy in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, has managed to secure access to Beijing's prestigious Tsinghua University with his high score of 593.5 in this year's national college entrance examination.
The boy, Sun Tianchang, set a record as the province's youngest ever student to sit the exam. Sun has his own way of study.
He said he hated exam-oriented approach and never did homework set by teachers. Sun only attended music, arts and sports classes in school. For the other classes, he chooses to read textbooks at home.
