Cheating husband tricks wife into divorce

Li was married to her husband, a public servant, for many years. Her husband used to travel outside Anhui for business, and thus they had no time to bear a child. One day in May last year, Li's husband told her that he had another lover and had made her pregnant. The husband suggested that he and Li get a divorce to calm down that woman in case she made trouble; he would then leave that woman and return to Li. Feeling pity on her husband, Li agreed and they divided their property; savings went to the husband, and the house to Li. Later, Li found that her husband really lived with the other woman and they had a child this summer. Li tried to resort to court, but lawyers said she and her husband's divorce was already effective due to legal procedure. |
