My heart goes out to all affected by this disaster. China, take note. The world is ready to assist you in whatever means necessary. Canada's DART team is in Thailand. They have enough relief supplies to last 40 days (and can get more in very quickly), can treat hundreds of wounded per day, and have a lot of experience with natural disasters. The International Red Cross is also ready to assist in whatever way they can. All able-bodied people in the region, both Chinese and foreigner should work together to overcome this tragedy.
To those who are blaming the Chinese seismological bureau for not predicting this earthquake, be cautious with your tongue. You cannot predict earthquakes with any certainty. You can say that one MAY happen within 20, 30, 40, or even 50 years, but you cannot predict one right to the day, or even the hour.
