$29,000 in compensation for each riot victim

Urumqi: Families will get 200,000 yuan ($29,274) in one-time compensation and 10,000 yuan ($1464) for funeral allowances for each innocent victim of the Urumqi riots, Wang Fengyun, director of the  Urumqi Bureau of Civil Affairs  announced here Friday afternoon.
