Residents are evacuated to a safe place during China's first national nuclear emergency joint exercise in Lianyungang city, east China's Jiangsu province, November 10, 2009. The National Nuclear Emergency Coordination Committee organized the exercise, codenamed "Sacred Shield-2009", in Beijing, Nanjing and Lianyungang and aimed at enhancing the preparation and coordination of relevant departments in case of a nuclear emergency.
