Former Gome chairman gets 14 years in prison

Huang Guangyu, former chairman of Gome Electrical Appliances Holdings, was sentenced to 14 years in prison on charges of illegal business practices, insider trading and bribery, chinanews.com.cn reported Tuesday.
The sentence was announced on Tuesday morning at the Beijing No 2 Intermediate People's Court.
