Dong Fan, a professor from Beijing Normal University, the director of the university’s real estate research center, refused to see any of his students who do not possess 40 million yuan by the time they are 40. Dong said people who had received high-level education should be ashamed if they do not live a wealthy life.

The professor’s mistake is he published words which were originally written to encourage his students, most of whom have entered business circles and have great potential to accumulate fortune. But his encouragement became an expression of value, a subject not liked by the public. Dong became a target, just like Huang Yibo. The public does not really hate Professor Dong, but hate the unfair nature of what he said.
