People?may get free ceremonial items while observing Qingming Festival this year at cemeteries, Beijing Times reported on Wednesday.

Items such as buckets, brushes and paint?should be provided for free at cemeteries, according to a regulation issued by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, which also said that flowers bouquets, yellow ribbons and paper cranes should be sold at fair prices, the report said.

The regulation also says that if people want to hold a ceremonial service at the cemetery, it should be hosted properly and last at least 10 minutes.

Qingming Festival falls on April 4 this year. It's also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day in China.
