It is irony that while India could not implement family planning and two children policy in last thirty odd years China has successfully implemented one-child policy and now relaxed it keeping in mind the country's demography in changing socio-economic scenario and further liberalisation. China's pragmatic approach should be an eye opener for all of us due to its sheer timing and boldness.
