The Central Meteorological Station (CMS) forecast on September 28 Monday heavy rain and gale from 8:00 am of Sept 28 to 8:00 am of Sept 29 at central and eastern parts of Zhejiang and Fujian provinces, and Taiwan.

Rain storms are expected at eastern coastal area of Fujian and most areas of Taiwan, with super storm (250-600 millimeters) expected at central and northern areas of Taiwan.

The above areas will have short-term heavy rain of maximum 80-100 millimeter per hour, the CMS said. Scattered heavy rain is also forecast for the Hetao area of Inner Mongolia and central part of North China.
