New York Times: Rich well represented in legislature
The national legislators' wealth has turned out to be an interesting topic. Compared to NPC deputies and CPPCC members in the two sessions, the richest person in any of the United States government's three branches, Representative Darrell Issa, a California Republican, would rank as only the 166th richest member in the two sessions, according to figures provided by the Center for Responsive Politics, a Washington-based group that tracks money in American politics.
