Public security bureau, procuratorates, court and Justice Department will jointly provide suggestions to deal with domestic violence on Wednesday.
They said those who try to stop domestic abuse will be not face criminal prosecution as long as their actions are justified under the Chinese law, Xinhua News Agency reported.
They further suggested that penalty may be reduced or completely waived if the self-defense actions were excessive.
