Cancer patient kills himself

Updated: 2009-11-17 14:27 A cancer patient committed suicide in Xisanqi, Haidian district, on a railway track on Sunday, the Beijing Times reported yesterday. The man was a lung cancer patient who could not afford treatment, the newspaper said. The man was reported to be in the area visiting his sister. A railway worker who witnessed the accident said the man was walking alongside the track before he jumped in the path of an oncoming train. He was killed immediately. |
