Chemical blast in Shandong kills 18

JINAN: Eighteen people died and 10 others were injured in a chemical explosion in East China's Shandong province yesterday.
The blast happened at around 4 pm as workers were unloading chemicals from a truck in Lanshan district of Linyi in Shandong. It is not known which chemicals were involved.
A fire caused by the explosion was extinguished by 4:30 pm.
