Comment on "Life is not easy, but hard work always pays" (Dec 9, China Daily)

I agree with the piece, by and large. The article prompted me to reflect on my situation. We youngsters had believed that hard work and frugal living could see us settle comfortably in big cities. But, when we realized that we had earned little, and far short of what is required as the down payment for a flat, we feel frustrated and miserable. We tend to lose our temper, just like Haiping's husband does in the serial, "Dwelling Narrowness".
