800 million cubic meters
Beijing will build six water-recycling plants in 2013, and the amount of recycled water used this year will reach 800 million cubic meters. Recycled water, widely used for industrial production, irrigation and afforestation, has become the second-largest source of water for the capital, according to the Beijing Water Authority.
