In the run-up to World AIDS Day on Sunday, medical workers from 21 Beijing hospitals attended an event last week to advocate equal treatment for people with HIV/AIDS.

Beijing's Ditan Hospital released a video at the event that shows medical workers how to protect themselves from infection to reduce their fear of treating HIV-positive patients.

China's top leadership also has recently promoted zero discrimination for HIV/AIDS patients, especially those at medical facilities.
