Educational cooperation and exchanges between China and the United States will increase thanks to a series of policies and programs, participants in a Sino-US working session said on Wednesday.

The participants discussed 23 issues related to bilateral cooperation and exchanges and made some agreements during the three-hour fifth US-China High-Level Consultation on People-to-People Exchange Working Session in Beijing.

Cen Jianjun, director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of the Ministry of Education, said that China and the US will renew the educational exchange and cooperation agreement and continue implementing government education programs, including the China-US Fulbright Program.
