In the 1960s, the craft of colored stone inlay entered its peak period. Under the leadership of his teacher Wang Peizhan, Miao and his colleagues accomplished many great works, like Twelve Chinese Zodiac Signs, and The Heavenly Maids Scatter Blossoms.
